A double mundu can be worn by all genders. It is a single piece of fabric, usually 4 metres long, folded into two and worn as a single drape.
A one piece single mundu, is usually worn by women, as the bottom part of a set mundu. It is 2.5 metres long and can be worn over a petticoat.
A set mundu is a set of 2 pieces comprising of mundu (worn at the bottom) and a neriyathu (dupatta). You can also make your own set by choosing a mundu here and a Neriyathu from the dupatta section on this website.
